Structural Analysis of Sutong Bridge

Sutong Bridge is the most of longest cable stayed bridge in the world. The Sutong cable-stayed bridge is the Primary Fairway Bridge of the Suzhou-Nantong Yangtze River Bridge Project in China. At a cost of approximately US $920 million dollars, it is an important project with a goal of reducing the economic gap between Suzhou and Nantong city and promoting balanced development in the area. Completed in the summer of 2007, the total length of the cable-stayed portion of the project is 2,088 meters with a 1,088-meter main span and a pylon height of about 300 meters. This paper briefly describes the project and discusses some of the structural design and static analyses that were undertaken in the design of Sutong Bridge.

• Intitial setting RMBridge program
• Double click the Modeler in the menu

• Click the Axis menu then click menu New Axis
• Click Ok in the New Axis dialog
• Click P0 icon to setup the original point

• Then press OK in this dialog

• Click the straight line by click this icon

• Put 20 in dialog box, then click Ok button

• Then continuous

Protect your website written by wordpress with login lockdown plugin

You are a bloger, you can choose a lot of tools for your blog. Nowaday, Wordpress is the best tool for personal blog. Although Wordpress has basic to secure your blog very good. But one day, you would be worry about the hacker attacting to your blog, Login LockDown is the best tool for you.

Login LockDown is the Wordpress's plugin so that it's very easy to install and free cost.

Login LockDown records the IP address and timestamp of every failed login attempt. If more than a certain number of attempts are detected within a short period of time from the same IP range, then the login function is disabled for all requests from that range. This helps to prevent brute force password discovery. Currently the plugin defaults to a 1 hour lock out of an IP block after 3 failed login attempts within 5 minutes. This can be modified via the Options panel. Admistrators can release locked out IP ranges manually from the panel.

2. Extract the zip file into your plugins directory into its own folder.
3. Activate the plugin in the Plugin options.
4. Customize the settings from the Options panel, if desired.

Using Structural Software for Modeling and Analysing a real structures

  A lot of people can using software for model and analysis the structural such as a bridge, a building,… and in the world have plenty of softwares supported designer for modeling and analyzing the structural such as SAP2000, RMBridge, ETAB… Today, I write series of post for my instructions about using Structural softwares to model and analysis structures.

  I have two instructions for viewers who want to learn a structural program and using it for design a real project:

       First, an actual structural included plenty of structures, a structure included one or more materials, and do you think have a space between the correct model on your computer and real project in the site? So, you should be learn certainly and clearly the theory of structures after you believe calculate a real project.

            Second, Don’t forget my first instruction.

  In series of post on my blog that I’ll write about structure, I’ll mention the SAP2000, RMBridge program and some post about CSIBridge of CSI.

  I hope my post in here useful for learner’s structures and later as engineer.

  And the last, I would like to discuss with engineer in all over the world. If I have errors on my post, you reply to me, so I learn it. And If you do not know a problem, you ask me and the engineering who read my post, so you can learn it. Because all engineers are just so!
